Kimmi Lou !

This last summer my daughter and I decided to enter my mini shop in the Iowa State Fair.  It took Layel and I three hours to set it up again once we got to the fair!  (I don't glue my things in place because I love to move things around!)  Anyway, the plan was to set it up and to take pictures while we worked and then of the finished shop.......but....yep, you guessed it, I forgot the camera.  I decided I would take a few pictures here at home and show you the results from the fair!  We had such fun putting it all together and meeting all the other people with beautiful entries!  So here are some pictures of the shop  and a picture of the ribbons we brought home~
It was very hard to photograph the shop, I ended up not being able to take a picture of the shop as a whole...

My "Paris" table....all kinds of yummies!...

a close up of a sweet heart cake and cupcakes....

cheesecakes, tulips and fruit, what a variety!...

caramel apples....

cakes, cakes and more cakes!....

chocolate and white cake with pink frosting and strawberries!

Pink birthday cake with baby bunnies, milk and white chocolate hearts..and oh!,don't forget the sprinkles!

gummy worms, taffy...

All-sorts, wax lips, and green apple giant  gumballs....

Chocolate!!!!!

marshmallows...

and finally...the results!....

First prize in  my class and Best of Show!

Mini Blessings, Kim

  8. Wish I had the patience to make something miniature. I have trouble being patient with life-sized productions! Congratulations, Kimmi Lou and Layel.
