Pretty in Pink Valentine's Board

Okay, I am kind of stuck in a pink theme lately....things are just cuter if they are pink!   Here is a little board I just finished (and I loved making it!)   Since I am on a "love" theme, I thought I would share one of my favorite verses, there is nothing comparable to the love God has for you!..

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."  Zeph. 3:17

Pink polka dots and vintage Valentine's Day card.........

   An old fashioned Valentine's Day cone filled with sweet little  pink candy hearts....

                             a red velvet lined candy box filled with chocolate truffles.........

                                       
           Pink topped cupcakes with a hard candy in the middle, beside the pink rock-candy of                          .                                                                       course!...........

Breakfast in Bed

It is below zero here and we are expecting 5 to 8 inches of snow!  It is hard to leave my heated blanket in the morning!  How about a little breakfast in bed?......

Spaghetti!

Spaghetti

Spaghetti, spaghetti, all over the place,

Up to my elbows—up to my face,

Over the carpet and under the chairs,

Into the hammock and wound round the stairs,

Filling the bathtub and covering the desk,

Making the sofa a mad mushy mess.

The party is ruined, I’m terribly worried,

The guests have all left (unless they’re all buried).

I told them, “Bring presents.” I said, “Throw confetti.”

I guess they heard wrong

‘Cause they all threw spaghetti!

It's a Birthday!

IT IS A BIRTHDAY PARTY AND THE THEME IS PINK!!!!!!..............................................

The candles are already blown out on the yummy strawberry cake with fluffy butter-cream frosting.....

What is a party without ice-cream?  Strawberry-Cheesecake ice-cream to be exact......

Oh, did I mention the sweet vintage birthday card and the lollipop and last but not least...the  Hershey Bar?!

What a huge party....well, maybe huge is not the right word!

Charlie Brown and Christmas Minis....

I finished up my last Christmas mini as I watched one of  my Christmas favorites, Charlie Brown's Christmas...gotta love Charlie Brown! I have already watched It's a Wonderful Life and I hope I have time to get in a few more before Christmas (HAVE to watch A Christmas Story!) What are some of your Christmas favorites?   Anyway, here is are a few pics of what my daughter and I made for a friend, I thought I would show you before we wrap it up!

Chicken Soup for the Soul.......

As we come to the middle of Advent I present you with another quote and another mini....
